Our approach

We support you with precision and efficiency.

Whether you are planning a building project, a property development, or simply need accurate detail about your land, our surveying team is with you at every stage, from the first survey to the final check.

Our surveys are tied to the national coordinate system MN95 and to the LHN95 height datum. The plans we deliver fit alongside cadastral data and the documents of other consultants. Depending on the extent and the level of detail required, the ground survey is completed by 3D laser scanning or by aerial photogrammetry.

Services

What we do

Detailed topographic survey of the site

Site setting out

Profile boards for the public planning notice

Site plan

Site checking and monitoring

Earthwork volume calculation

Structural checking and deformation monitoring

Equipment

Two instruments, two levels of accuracy

The choice depends on the accuracy required and on the layout of the site.

Total station

Trimble S5 · Leica TS15

The total station measures angles and distances to millimetre accuracy. It is the reference instrument for setting out and structural checking — wherever every centimetre commits the build.

GNSS receiver

Leica GS15

GNSS positions in real time by satellite, tied to the Swiss reference network. Fast and effective in the open, it covers large areas without setting up on stations.

  • RTK correction
  • Large areas
  • Control points

Frequently asked

What we get asked most often

When do you need a site plan?
As soon as a project goes to public notice. The site plan shows the land, its boundaries and the footprint of the project in the official coordinate system. It is the first document a municipality asks for — and often the one that holds up a file when it is missing.
What are profile boards?
They are the timber or metal profiles set out on site to mark the footprint and the height of the future building during the public notice period. They let neighbours and the authorities see the project in three dimensions, on the ground.
When should a surveyor come on site?
Three times at least: at public notice for the profile boards, before earthworks for the setting out, then at the structural stages for checking. The earlier a discrepancy is spotted, the cheaper it is to put right.
What is the difference between a total station survey and a 3D scan?
The total station measures chosen points to the highest accuracy — the tool for setting out and checking. The scanner records everything, with no filtering — the tool for exhaustive documentation. The two complement each other, and we often combine them on the same commission.
In what formats do you deliver plans?
In DWG or DXF for your technical consultants, and as a dimensioned, scaled PDF for the file. The data is tied to LV95, so it overlays directly onto the cadastre and your other sources.
Do you calculate earthwork volumes?
Yes. Volume calculation compares the surveyed ground against a reference state to determine cut and fill. Depending on the extent, we do it by ground survey or from the air.
