With advanced laser scanning technology and our experience in 3D modelling, we deliver reliable data and sound information for planning, refurbishment and management of your buildings.

The principle is simple: instead of measuring the points you think you need, the scanner records everything it sees. The resulting point cloud becomes a digital copy of the building, one you can go back and measure at any time — to draw plans, to build a BIM model or to document an existing building before work starts.

How a survey runs

Reconnaissance and preparation

Together we define the area to survey, the level of detail required and the deliverables. The number of scan positions and where they go follow from the geometry of the site: a heavily partitioned building needs more positions than an open volume.

Capture on site

The laser scanner records millions of points from each position. Every position is tied to the next, then the whole set is georeferenced in the Swiss LV95 coordinate system. The work is contact-free and does not interrupt use of the premises.

Registration and quality control

The scan positions are registered to one another, the cloud is cleaned of stray elements, then structured. We check the geometric consistency of the whole before any further work: a poorly registered cloud corrupts everything that follows.

Delivery and use

You receive the point cloud and the agreed deliverables — plans, sections, elevations, orthoimages or a BIM model. The cloud stays viewable online, in a browser, with no software to install.

The scanner sits on a tripod and records a full sphere from each position. It is the most accurate method, and our first choice whenever a measurable deliverable is expected.

Mobile scanner

Range 120 m · 5 mm on the move, 2 mm in Flash scan

The scanner is carried and captures while walking. Large areas are covered in a fraction of the time, at lower accuracy than the static instrument — the right choice when extent matters more than the millimetre.

What we get asked most often

What is the difference between a scanner survey and a conventional one?
A conventional survey measures the points you think you need. The scanner records everything, with no prior filtering. If a question comes up six months later — a ceiling height, a wall thickness, a duct run — the answer is already in the cloud. No need to go back on site.
Do the premises have to be cleared during the survey?
No. Measurement is contact-free and at a distance. We work in occupied buildings, offices and operating sites. The areas to be surveyed simply need to be accessible at the time.
What do you get at the end?
The point cloud, and the deliverables agreed with you: plans, sections and elevations, vector drawings, orthoimages, as-built documentation, or a complete BIM model . The cloud alone is sometimes enough, if your teams know how to work with it.
Do you need specialist software to view the cloud?
No. We publish your data online through BIMREVO : the cloud, the 360° tours and the model are all viewable in a browser, with measurement and annotation, with nothing to install and no licence for the people you share them with.
Static or mapping — how do you choose?
By the deliverable. As soon as a dimensioned plan or a BIM model is called for, we go with the scanner statique. To document large volumes or long runs quickly, the scanner mapping cuts the time on site. The two can be combined on the same job.
Is the survey georeferenced?
Yes, in the Swiss MN95 system. Your data therefore overlays directly onto the cadastre, the official surveyor's plans and your other sources — drone survey, GIS or an existing model.
