With advanced laser scanning technology and our experience in 3D modelling, we deliver reliable data and sound information for planning, refurbishment and management of your buildings.
The principle is simple: instead of measuring the points you think you need, the scanner records everything it sees. The resulting point cloud becomes a digital copy of the building, one you can go back and measure at any time — to draw plans, to build a BIM model or to document an existing building before work starts.

Method
How a survey runs
Reconnaissance and preparation
Together we define the area to survey, the level of detail required and the deliverables. The number of scan positions and where they go follow from the geometry of the site: a heavily partitioned building needs more positions than an open volume.
Capture on site
The laser scanner records millions of points from each position. Every position is tied to the next, then the whole set is georeferenced in the Swiss LV95 coordinate system. The work is contact-free and does not interrupt use of the premises.
Registration and quality control
The scan positions are registered to one another, the cloud is cleaned of stray elements, then structured. We check the geometric consistency of the whole before any further work: a poorly registered cloud corrupts everything that follows.
Delivery and use
You receive the point cloud and the agreed deliverables — plans, sections, elevations, orthoimages or a BIM model. The cloud stays viewable online, in a browser, with no software to install.

We pick the instrument to suit the deliverable, and often combine them on the same site.
Static scanner

The scanner sits on a tripod and records a full sphere from each position. It is the most accurate method, and our first choice whenever a measurable deliverable is expected.

Mobile scanner
FARO OrbisRange 120 m · 5 mm on the move, 2 mm in Flash scan
The scanner is carried and captures while walking. Large areas are covered in a fraction of the time, at lower accuracy than the static instrument — the right choice when extent matters more than the millimetre.

Imaging scanner

The scanner records the point cloud and 360° panoramas at up to 50 megapixels. Real-time guidance keeps the campaign quick: this is the tool for visual documentation, when the image counts as much as the measurement.
